Services
Rowena provides the following services:
- Neuropsychological assessments with personalised recommendations, including to:
- characterise the cognitive, emotional and behavioural functioning of a person with a known neurological condition;
- provide guidance for treatment and management; or
- to assist with differential diagnosis.
- Neuropsychological intervention, including:
- psychoeducation and cognitive rehabilitation i.e., ongoing assistance to understand a condition and to develop and apply personalised strategies and support plans to manage any associated cognitive difficulties;
- psychological therapy for people with neurological conditions and/or the people who care for them (e.g., to help with adjustment, depression or anxiety); and
- positive behaviour support for people with neurological conditions. [Note: Rowena is not registered to provide positive behaviour support plans for NDIS participants.].
- Professional supervision and secondary consultation.
Telehealth and home visits are available in some circumstances. Please ask.
Rowena does not provide:
- assessments for ADHD diagnosis; or
- services for patients under 18 years of age.
Rowena is able to accept NDIS payments for participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. Rowena is not registered with NDIS and is therefore not able to accept NDIS payments for NDIA-managed participants.
Rowena is happy to see people funded by work cover and motor accident schemes, DVA and similar.
Referrals
To refer to Rowena, please send a referral via email to rowena@beechamneuropsych.com or through HealthLink (ID: beechamn) or ReferralNet/ Argus. Please include relevant medical and psychological history and the details of any previous neuroimaging and neuropsychological assessments. And please indicate if the patient has a significant visual or hearing impairment, physical disability, or language impairment.
